Ritalin LA and food
The information I've read about Ritalin LA says that it can be taken with or without food, but I've noticed that if I take my pill and eat at the same time, it doesn't seem to work as well. Anyone else noticed this?
If I take the Ritalin and wait to eat breakfast, I get more benefit from the drug, but I'm likely to forget breakfast altogether, and not be interested in food for the rest of the day. I'm supposed to eat every 3 hours to manage my hypoglycemia, but that's soooo tedious. ![]() |

Do you take it with orange Juice or another citrus? I have heard that citrus can lessen the affect of ritalin.

It is recommended to wait 1 hour before or 1 hour after you eat to take it
