Re: Post A Movie, TV or Screen Character with ADHD

Polly from the movie Along Came Polly struck me as having ADHD characteristics. Very spontaneous, forgetful, disorganized. Anytime I see that movie something else jumps out at me that seems ADHDish.

ah thought of another one .. an animation that is hilarious .. about a guy who has to practice the piano but just *cannot get started* .. mb not strictly ADD but definitely VERY recognisable

Maxwell Smart, Secret Agent 86 of CONTROL (Get Smart). While the Chief is telling him what his asignment is, he's looking for a pen and paper. When the Chief finishes, he's just starting. And he always makes some kind of comment that gives the Chief a headache, but I understand.

Reminds me of me! *lol*

Re: Post A Movie, TV or Screen Character with ADHD

Anybody remember Peter Falk's Columbo? He was emphatically "inattentive" ADD. I just loved his "just one more thing" routine -- and I also loved the fact that inevitably at the end of the episode he would have the insight that everyone else missed.

These ladies have a low frustration tolerance and some impulsiveness issues...

They often co-occur. The OP stated characteristics of ADHD, like those brawling drama queens may have ADHD because they are impulsive.

I found better ones

Re: Post A Movie, TV or Screen Character with ADHD

I saw Juno, and didn't notice any ADD characters!! I was maybe too distracted by the soundtrack, and images of pink bunny suits
