$4 prescription plan at walmart

In reference to the $4 prescription plan at walmart:

"More medicines covering more categories Prescription drugs covering glaucoma, Attention Deficit Disorder/
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD), fungal infections and acne were added to the program."

Taken from http://www.walmartfacts.com/Media/12...6211042504.pdf

I was excited to read that adhd meds were added to the $4 prescription plan at walmart, but I looked at the list and it doesn't have any of them on there?? Anyone have some insight?

Re: $4 prescription plan at walmart

I was quite confused, so I went through the mental health list with Google and found it: Carbamazepine. However it's not FDA approved for ADHD. Assuming that there is no other ADHD drug on the list, is WalMart's claim legal?

Thumbs down Re: $4 prescription plan at walmart

I guess we will have to wait for this list to update... I see nothing good about this by the way.. Its easy enough for non adders to get the meds, now the ones who wanted it but couldn't afford it have a chance to get it..

Re: $4 prescription plan at walmart

I read on a site that for some reason can't list it publicly... but if you ask for it they have it on the plan... Don't remember the site but I read it right before I dosed off to sleep A lady said she got here ritalin filled with the $4 plan even though its not on the list... who knows though, I'm going to go there and ask today and report back.

Ok so I went to walmart and asked... they only have 10 mg Ritalin on the $4 plan So, for those taking Ritalin, hope this info might help some of you...

Then they probably shouldn't call it a "complete list".

Re: $4 prescription plan at walmart

Since this is the Adderall forum does anyone have info if they're covering it? If it was covered I'd assume it's for the generic instant release formula. It would mean a savings for people who have no rx coverage.

Wink Re: $4 prescription plan at walmart

Hi, I just wanted to pass on the info., I recently had my Adderall RX filled at Wal-Mart and unfortunately it still isn't covered under their $4 deal plan, or any plan for that matter! The generic still exceeded my cost expectations! But as mentioned previously, the 10 mg Ritalin generic is covered.
