What am i suppose to do now?
hi i'm a 21 year old college student and have been taking aderall for about 2 years now.And i'v felt like a new person ever since. There's recently been some changes with my insurance company. I'm still insured and they paid for me to see my doctor last week but they refuse to pay for my adderall prescriptions. I'v been to three different pharmecies and the first simply told me they no longer honored my insurance company the second told me they tried a couple times to get some kind of authorization but couldn't do it. I finally got frustrated with them and took the prescription to the third place. I had to get some 1-800 number from the pharmecy and call my doctor and give it to her myself. So far No one has done anything but give me the run around. I'v been without medication for about 3 weeks now and it's been volatile. After 15 mins of class i feel like i'v been there two hours. I have to force myself to sit there and not walk out...I'v been walking around in a daze, i talk slower, and sometimes forget what i'm evan talking about halfway through sentance. There's been a few points where i feel like i just don't care about anything or have any opinion anymore.I would'v never dreamed this would happen after they got me started on this stuff, I feel like the people who are suppose to help me have turned there backs on me...
Can someone please help? does anyone know of discount prescription sources that carry adderall? or of any discount plans?, or maybe evan an alternative treatment?...I really can't afford to pay out of pocket for my prescription...thanx...andy |

Try Costco - they have a pharmacy there. Or Sam's Club. Get generic, and get large tablets twice your dosage that you can break in half. Pay out of pocket - it's worth it to be able to function. It's a high priority, so do it. Good Luck. -Renee
