Unhappy Boogiebutt - Missouri, USA

Hi everyone, my name is Amber and I'm a 13 year old girl. I have AD/HD, OCD, ODD, Deep Depression and suspected bipolar. I am going through lots of test right now.

Back in Feb. of this year I tried to kill my self because I had a lot on my mind and too much preasure and I did't feel like I had a way out. I was dx'd in 1995 with AD/HD and juvenile Epilepsy. Mom probably already told you that. My mom is Spirit. And now I've been dx'd with the rest.

I find it tough to keep friends because I tend to take pleasure out of tormenting and annoying people. Can someone give me some advice on how to like stop from doing this.

Huggz all,

Boogie Baby!!!! Hey hey hey. You know, I m so glad youre here, and so will Zombie. She has hestitated to join in as she isnt dx'ed but most likely is inattentive add. You remind me so much of myself. I realized that annoying and tormenting others was a way of stimulating myself, sorta giving my brain a jolt when bored or numb, also a way of dealing with affectionate feelings I didnt know how to translate without out feeling weird. Part of being BP can be iratibility etc.Zombie and I are very loving with each other but we also walk by each other and whisper "Dork" at each other and laugh like morons. Finding that balance is tough and any one who knows me from the ADD room can tell you, nothing gives me the giggles faster than tormenting some ding a ling. Im trying ot get beyond it. maybe the two of us will some day.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. It feels good to know I'm welcomed here, and that there are people out there just like me.

Love ya all,

Huggz,
Boogie

P.S. Mom posted this for me because I am currently grounded from the computer for poking a kid at school with a pencil repeatedly.

HI Boogie,
Welcome. It was good to read your share. My son is diagnosed ADHD, ODD and maybe bipolar, and he has the same problem, he irritates those people he doesnt like at the moment though he can be a real sweetheart with those he likes. The problem is that even the people he likes see him with his off the wall, irritating behavior, so he has no real close friends and i think it's so sad. He is 15, real smart, but lonely. He is on Depakote and Wellbutrin which seem to make it easier for him not to torment people. He is also in therapy and this helps. I think the most important thing I can do for him is constantly let him know he is loved no matter what...and this is hard to do sometimes when he's irritating! Anyway, it is a slow process but if you work on it you'll find your own answers

Welcome Boogie

Huggz baby, at least here I can see what's going on in that pretty little head of yours. Hon I know it's hard for you to talk to me, but this is turning out to be a good thing. I can see what's bothering you and then I will be able to help you through it.

Love you with all my heart, mind and soul.
Mom
