Nope. I sink. I took swimming lessons 7 times as a kid (that is, seven complete courses of swimming lessons), and it never stuck.

Hmm...Yeah, I guess so. But I only know 3 of them really well (English, Russian, and French).
TPBM is in the Eastern Hemisphere, too.

I'm not really into politics, and don't usually have very strong opinions about them. Except that I hate debates. But if all debates stopped, that would wipe out politics as we know it.
