Adderall & Caffeine Pill's

Hey there.

I'm currently on a prescription for Adderall XR (30MG), and so far it is working great.. except for one problem.

I do not get this "speedy" effect that most of my friends get and what I've heard across the net.

Usually when I'm taking adderall, I just get more chilled out and calm then I normaly am (Very calm).

So, my question is that if I tried a caffiene pill (Stacker 3's without the ephedra formula with about 250mg of caffeine in them specifically) and one of my adderall that I take in the morning, would this help me get the.. "speedy" effect a bit?

I just want to be a little more excited and energized instead of always calm and bored-looking.

Not a good idea really. These drugs both increase your heart rate and blood pressure. It's not uncommon for people with ADD/ADHD to not get the "high" from stimulants like amphetamines or cocaine - it calms them down by making their levels of dopamine more like other "normal" people in their "normal" state. The fact you are calmer means the drug is working! Does the Adderall help you with concentration, inattention, etc.? I suspect your friends are not taking the drug for ADD/ADHD are they?
250mg is a fist full of caffeine - 2.5 strong cups of coffee. But you likely won't take just one pill if you are going for a "high".

"No deaths have been reported by an overdose of drinking coffee, - but an overdose of coffee of more than 5 cups per day may have a direct dose related effect on the central nervous system, and may affect the heart and its rhythm, blood vessel diameter, coronary circulation and increase blood pressure, urine volumen and gastric secretions. These effects are capable of producing bizarre signs and symptoms which are very baffling, i.e.: High fever or low grade fever unresponsive to persistent antibiotic treatment (3), psychoneurosis (anxiety) unresponsive to Diazeparn (1) and paraxysmal atrial tachycardia (4). "
2 caffine pills a day can possibly do this.
Using drugs to feel a bit more excited and energized is very common but very unhealthy. It may work in the moment, but ultimately can't be sustained, and attempts to try to get that "first high" feeling often don't end well. ADD/ADHD people tend to have very "addictive personalities" which stem from poor impulse control - so try not to get into the habit of taking drugs for the "buzz", it'll be hard for you to stop.

Gregster, yeah.. Adderall makes me much more concentrated and I can actually focus and pay attention during class and at home (Had problems with this before the medication).

And yeah.. my friends are not taking Adderall because they think they have AD/HD.. just to get the "speedy focased high" feeling it gives to them (Although, I'm pretty sure some of my friends have ADD, but there parents are know where as understanding and ready to listen as mine are).

This is what I was trying to do when I used to buy Adderall on the "black market". This is how I figured out that I might possibly have ADD.. and found out.. That I have a moderate case..

I was planning on only taking 1 Pill (250mg). I'm not really looking for the "high". But just more excited and not as calm.. a "buzz from the normal" you could call it.

I really wouldn't mind if I had to take 1 Adderall in the morning and also 1 Caffenine pill to support this "buzz" to continue everyday.

btw, I heard that the effects of Caffiene can boost the effects of Adderall (Or any amphetamine) by 3 times. Is this true?

If the Adderall isnt' lasting long enough talk to your doctor about adjusting your dose. Long acting stimulants don't last the same ammount of time for everybody. Some people are prescribed both long and short acting stimulants.

Instead of playing around with caffeine and ephreda communicate with your doctor.

It's not that the adderall isn't lasting long enough.. it's just that.. I want to have more energy and not be so calm & boring.

The Adderall works great for me. I take it at around 7:30AM and it lasts all through school and starts whereing off at about 4:00PM. And at this time, I'm allowed to take a 10mg dose of amephetamine salts, which usually lasts me till bedtime.

I just tryed experimenting with the caffiene pill and my adderall today. And wow, I've never felt so great before. I've got the great concentrated and focased feeling of the adderall and the energy and social charge of the caffiene. It's like.. heaven!
Lasts for a few hours too. Went on about 5 hours. Then just popped another caffiene pill. Covers the whole day.

I'm seriously thinking of taking a caffiene pill daily with my adderall. It really helps me out with the energy and social boost.

The problem is, Caffeine is addictive, and once your body gets used to 1 pill, it will take 2 pills, etc. to get the same result.

Instead, why don't you explain your experiment to your doctor, and let him prescribe something that's more appropriate, and not as dangerous as mixing caffeine pills with prescription meds.
