we have an ignore button. Each member can ignore whomever they wish (except moderators and admin, I believe)

go into your user CP, on the left side, under "Settings & Options" there is "Edit Ignore List"

Sounds good!
Be good to have options to:
make it not display their posts and to hide your posts from them
block you user data pages from being seen by them

i dont need this but im in favour of it for those who do!

it wouldnt be nice for someone who relies on this place to be sacred off by someone else! Theses not anywhere else like this place! Well not that ive found anyway!

is this related to why you have changed you name?
I hope no one has been getting you down!
If so then i really feel for you! Please dont let someone elses problem to become your problem! You dont need that! No one does! Remember its them not you!

Also, if somebody is bothering you and breaking the rules you can report their posts or forward their private messages to an admin or moderator.
