Cheapest Place to get Adderall

Hi,

I have just started on adderall and am looking for places to fill my prescription of 100 of the 5mg tablets generic.

I tried a Ralphs Pharmacy and they said it would be around 200 bucks

I tried Rite Aid they around the same price.

My insurance doesn't cover ADD medication.

Please help, wondering if there are some discount prescription programs out there or if the Adderall Manufacter might offer some discounts for low income ADDers.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Costco, you don't have to be a member but if you are they give you additional discounts. I got my generic adderall 20mg's 60 tabs for 25 bucks! You gotta check them out.

Re: Cheapest Place to get Adderall

Thanks your right Costco called me back with a price quote and they are hundreds of dollars cheaper then everyone else including Walmart.

Can get 100 5mg tabs for 35 bucks

I wonder why they are so cheap, everyone else quoted me at least 150.00 over what they quoted me for the generics.

$35, wow! Surprised that even Walmart was pricey. I wonder if it's as cheap at Sam's Club.

Adderall tends to be priced per pill, not per mg., so getting fewer larger tablets is often more cost effective than many smaller ones. It is less convenient though, if you have to divide the doses. In some instances, like this one, long-acting medication isn't much more expensive (or is possibly cheaper) than short acting, especially if you buy high quantities of low dose pills. So it's likely that 50 10mg pills will cost about half of what 100 5mg pills costs.

Nah Sam's Club is right around the same price as Wal Mart figures since they are owned by the company.

I have a pill cutter I got for $3-4 from Wal-Mart. Dead easy to use. If you could have your doctor prescribe 20 mg pills "take 1/4 x times per day" or something, you could save a lot of money -- as a previous poster pointed out, the cost is about the same per-pill.

Re: Cheapest Place to get Adderall

nice I was just thinking about that the other day i'm going to get a pill cutter. Breaking them in half with my teeth or hands isn't cutting it, no pun intended.

Wow that's cheap, especially since you don't have insurance. Who is the manufacturer of the pills?
