Price of Adderall XR?
Can anyone here(uninsured) tell me what they pay for their Adderall XR prescriptions? I have a good idea what the regular adderall costs, but am curious about the costs for XR. Thank you for any help you can give...

No Insurance atm... $308 dollars is the cheapest i've found for 60 (20mg) Adderall XR Capsules a month. Generic from Barr supposedly will be on the market April 1, 2009.

wow...talk about making a killing before their patent runs out.

Next they going to come out with Adderall 2XR or something to make up for what they are losing when XR goes generic

Yep, glad I have caring parents. You're crazy if you think I'm footing that bill monthly in college... I'd tell the doctor to switch me over to Generic IR (ugh, IR).

mine came to $36 with insurance but I asked the pharm tec how much it would have been without insurance and she said $176 +tax, this was for 30 X 15mg

As an update, I called Costco here in Fort Worth, TX and they told me their charge for 30 Adderall XR 20mg is 160.55.

You think that is expensive?...try Provigil. The retail cost for my 90 day supply of Provigil (#180 tablets, 200mg) is a tad over $1200.00. Thankfully my insurance covers it.

It was around 150 at Benbrook CVS a couple months ago.
