Lord of the Rings...Which Character Would You Be?

For myself I would choose Galadriel. She's a bit severe and quiet, but she can also be merry. She is also strong and stands for what she knows to be right, even when the rest of the world may be saying something else. She's a bit prideful, but even she knows when to decline the ring!

And she's not above using any talent she has to gain a foothold to forward any machinations she may have going on because of her foresight. If it wasn't for Tolkiens distaste for spiders, she would have made a great 'spider' lady instead of the Lady of the Wood.


Ok, I was obsessed with the books when I was in grade school.

Oh and when I said that i meant the mean one, mwuahahah I guess my second choise would be sam... EYEFORGOT, on a few post above shared a nice description of Sam and the hobbits

omgz-wtfz, I found a nice little vid of Sam giving a speech on why they must move forward. Sam shares a story of Hope, even when the odds are overwhelming.

Sam's speech to Mr. Frodo, sums up why they are on this journey.

Gandalf.

I relate to his role as an advisor and the way he helps his friends indirectly by helping them understand who they are and what they are here for. He does a lot more asking than telling. Also, his appearance is deceiving and while he seems to take a very cerebral role most of the time, the Balrog fight is shocking and iconic.

I too would be Gandalf for the same reason. That is exactly how I interact with my friends and family.

Okay, now that I've seen it and actually absorbed it for the first time - the quiz is totally wrong. It would be nice and romantic to say Arwen, but not even close.

It would be Sam and Legolas. Legolas because I look just like him at target practice and I'm great at everything I do. Kidding!! No, it's how he senses things, I really relate to that, it's a blessing and a curse......

And Sam, because of his consistency and staying power as a friend.
