finger pain noticed after 3 weeks

I was recently prescribed Adderall for my treatment for ADHD. I'm 34 years old, in reasonably good health. I started taking adderall and its effects were miraculous. So far I haven't had any noticeable side effects except some pain in my fingers. The pain started along the top of the index finger and I've been noticing pain in my other fingers and knuckles. I don't think my hand is swollen. The problem is getting worse.

I did some research on adderall and it says it can produce muscle and joint pain. If it is the adderall, what is the adderall doing to make this pain, and can it be avoided?

I experience a little pain in my fingers, but it is because I keep flexing my fingers. not sure why, repeditive action caused by stiffness I believe.
