i feel for hobbledehoy!! sending you wishes of peace and harmony!! my oldest brother had schiziphrenia back in the seventies after returning from viet nam. MY daughter has been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder,,i try to keep her going day to day with all the love and support a mom can give!! So here i am sending you alittle of that love and support that may help you get through another one hobble.. my daughter is doing better than she has in a long time and i am so thankfull for that!!

Sorry hobbledboy. I feel for you although I definitely don't understand what it's like to have schizophrenia since I don't have it myself. I've only seen glimpses of what it's like to have schizophrenia. My cousin has it.

I feel for you, someone in my family has schizophrenia, and its really hard for us to talk sometimes. I mean, she's my #1 person to go for personal advice, she really knows me very well, but when it comes to the world sometimes it seems like she is really out there. We'll be talking about how life is, and she gives me the most support without being fake, and then she'll freak out if someone opens the blinds on a sunny day. I love her to death tho, and I am sending some of that your way too! Stick in there! We all have our burdens to bear, but that shouldn't stop you from loving yourself or your life! With time, and your good doctor, I hope that you can find your peace. Good luck!

Thanks guys. Maybe I've only seen glimpses also.

Two doctors believe I did this to myself with the Adderall. It's funny, because I did this to myself alright, but it was through several thought changes. I went from living for others to living for only God, and went from having ADHD to having psychosis overnight.

And it was all fun and games until your dopamine overflows.

It seems that for a manic depressive, there's enough dopamine to go around. I just have to learn how to take it from people without taking too much and without being a grade A-hole.

I still wonder if ADHD actually exists. With new research about genetic overlapping, I'm 90% sure it doesn't.

You ADDers just care too much.
