This book was recommended to me by a therapist. It taught me a lot. The meat of the book describes a very simple method for lessening OCD. You can do it on your own, or encourage your therapist to read it.

It's a well-known book, as far as I can tell, and UCLA is a big-time psychiatry department.

It's really simple--a nice, long, easy to read description of OCD, a lot of case studies of people like us, and a straightforward description of the 'four step method', which also is surprising simple. I really liked the book, it helped me a lot, and I recommend you read it.

If you read it and didn't like it, I don't want to hear about it , because it's an important book to me.
