Authorized Generic by watson are actually made by the brand company see photos
FYI
Wellbutrin authorized generic by Watson Pharmaceuticals is made by GSK (The brand manufacturer). I've used both the branded Glaxo bupropion SR and the generic Watson bupropion SR and found them to work equally well. they are made by the brand manufacturer. even the bottles are exactly the same. its gives the brand manufacturer access to the generic market "quietly" without hurting their brand sales. many companies do that these days. they are sold at generic prices http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Authorized_generics See links to photos http://www.addforums.com/forums/pict...pictureid=5578 http://www.addforums.com/forums/pict...pictureid=5579 |

No problem
Ritalin and Ritalin SR has an authorized generic made by Sandoz. Sandoz is owned by Ritalin manufacturer (Novartis) |

2010 Update
Sadly, it looks like the party may be over. I filled a prescription for Bupropion SR 200, Watson brand and it's not the same as the OP described. Really large, white pills now, and they're not half as effective as the Sandoz generic. Neither has the Biovail release mechanism that GSK use, but Watson feels like junk. Such a shame! |
