Testicle dull ache 'only' when taking Adderall

I changed my unhealthy diet to combat the side effects, and not only did the side effects reduce, but the stimulation lasted longer.

However, I am having this annoying ache that only appears when I take Adderall. I'm not the only one. And since the ache only shows up a few days after starting it, I'm guessing there's something I'm not doing right. My theory is that either I need to make additional changes to my diet, which seems highly unlikely, or my clothes are just too tight, and the change in blood flow makes me feel the ache for some reason. Anyone know what nutritions affect the testicles?

It's odd that this appears to be the first time it's mentioned in these forums, and is not mentioned among the side effects, despite the fact that others have suffered from this problem. My testicles are perfectly healthy, so there's nothing to worry about there.

I have nothing to add other than to say that I used to have this problem all the time. It disappeared completely when I quit smoking. Perhaps it’s some sort of vasoconstrictive phenomenon?

Man, I had this issue when I would not magnesium with my Adderall XR and IR. In addition, if the underwear was tight - man - it would make me want to faint as it hurt SO bad. Catching your breath is not fun at work at a desk.

I like Booee's addition of information about vasoconstrictive properties of smoking in relation to Adderall. I smoke and when I take Add XR and IR, I can only finish half a cigarette at most about 5 times a day because my heart rate just goes up so fast and I feel my package feeling VERY uncomfortable!

Ugh, yet another reminder I'm going to quit smoking next week.....blech.

Oh, if the vasoconstriction is making your testes um, "retreat", like they do when the weather's cold (happen's to almost all males on amphetamines) then the more cramped space can be uncomfortable, especially if you're sitting and *should* be warm enough in your pants. Also, if you get at all tense or end up sitting in weird positions on adderall that can add pressure to those parts.
