methylphenidate cr vs other controlled release

Alright, so I'm currently on Concerta and it's been absolutely the best ADD med I have taken, but, it is extremely expensive and I don't have any health insurance so I was trying to find a replacement possibly and was wondering which methylphenidate containing tablet has the best controlled release besides concerta, is the generic controlled release any good? Some input would be greatly appreciated.

It is wicked expensive, but the good news is you can probably get it FREE and won't have to switch meds.

go there... it's the patient assistance program for concerta.. gives you the eligibility requirements (no insurance, can't afford, etc) and an application that you and your doctor fill out and submit with a written prescription.

They send you a card that you take to your pharmacy each time you get a prescription. It's valid for a year, and can be renewed after 12 months if you still can't afford the medication.

I've been using it for two years now, and I love seeing the pharmacist ring up $0.00 instead of 400.00 dollars every month.

Nothing beats concerta.. been taking it for 7 years and it's the only one that lasts for a long time and is smooth.
