Quick Question!!!!

Im currently taking generic Adderall XR 20mg 2xday and its BARR, YUCK, Ive noticed a difference since I started it. I hate BARR with a PASSION and want SANDOZ, but does Sandoz only come in IR?????

If so then what brand XR should I get????

I have tried all of them and there is a manufacturer called Global and it works for me by far the best. I have had Barr, Teva, and now Global and will always ask for that. I had to go to a smaller home town pharmacy cause I was pretty much dismissed by rite aid and walgreens as being crazy! GRRRR!
Call around and see who the manufacturer is and if they can get you a different one. Explain you had bad side effects and also you can have your Dr write NO BARR brand generic or ONLY Global on the prescription. If they are smaller they usually want your business and will help you out to get it. If its a larger chain the may not be able to order anything "special" and only get what is sent to them......though they should never make you feel like you are a problem....you are bringing them business but sometimes their hands are tied and should act respectful. Here in MI they have never told me about Sandoz. First I heard of it was on here. I am on XR

Sandoz only comes in IR for now. the XR version has been approved and will available soon.


Global / Impax (same company) have adderall XR generic available. Its actually made by shire (adderall XR) manufacturer. You can call shire and ask.

Sandoz XR version will be made by shire too (authorized generic). thats why there is a little difference in price between XR generic and brand. Impax, Sandoz, and Shire agreed to manufacture generic XR for them for royalty and to not go way down on the price so it wont hurt the brand sales much. Basically monopoly.
