Switching to Straterra

Hi everybody,

I have done a fair bit of reading on this and other forums. I have also noticed quite a lot of people have been on ritalin or other stimulant medication for a long time and have found it very helpfull. Some of these people and now changing over to straterra.

So my question is why the change? If you are happy with the ritalin what is the motivation for changing to something else. I know there are certain side effects to stimulants like loss of appetite but are there other worse side effects the would warrant the change? Or may be is it just the hope that there is something better out there that is the catalyst for change.

Anyway, the reason I ask is that I am about to start on ritalin and just want to learn as much as I can!
