ISO New Path: Medically sensitive. Like Vyvanse?
I thought Vyvanse was the holy grail for me but have been having joint problems when I take it regularly. I'm looking for something equivalent.
I take about 8-10mg of Vyvanse. It makes an amazing difference. Like a light was turned on and I can make decisions, frame time better, etc. the come down is gentle, etc. But the joint pain (toes, knees, arms, neck, fingers) is too much.
My current doctor, after I told her the Vyvanse was creating some aches and pains, prescribed me 20mg of Adderal. I took it and got very sick. Heart racing, profuse sweating, anxiety, trouble breathing. Turns out 20mg of Vyvanse are very different in their amphetamine content. (Hope I am saying this right). I don't think she knows what she's doing.
Any thoughts for PI folks on what might work as well. Anyone from the PI group that is sensitive find something that works? I'm trying to formulate a very clear plan so I can either bring this doctor around or talk to a new one.
Thanks!
