My Friday Was Already Bad...
I pushed myself a little too hard this week. I accomplished a lot and made it to Friday.
But today I wasn't sure what I was working on half the time. My mind was spinning, scattering all over the place. My legs were bouncing like crazy. I ate more than I should. I worked hard, but I'm sure that I left a million things partially done or unfinished. I kept thinking that my meds weren't helping at all. I figured the ADHD was in full swing despite the meds. My Friday was already going badly and then I forgot to take one of my doses. Things went from bad to worse. I was dumped into a swimming haze of ditsy jitters. For about an hour, I ended up jumping up and down from my seat a million times and became even less productive than I already was. Ugh. Life sucks sometimes. I'm facing a stressful night, too. I really need to take a break from doing anything at all. Thanks for letting me vent. |

Just do what we do best: forget about it, and pick up where you left off tomorrow
![]() I was feeling the same way today, but I took advantage of it. I went and got a terrible haircut, bought groceries that I should never have, and made a game out of bouncing in my seat (literally). All I can do is pick up the slack tomorrow...i mean: we are the masters of winging it anyways right? |

You know, for me -- and I always seem to forget this -- a bad day or a few bad days are immediately followed by a bunch of good days.
Now if I could just remember this when I feel "bad" maybe I'd feel "better" ![]()
