I've been quite a productive "domestic goddess" today.

I think I was possessed by martha stewart today. (minus her stock market interests....lol)

Been cookin' like a fool. Homemade veggie soup, tuna salad, boneless chicken thighs are in the crock pot, got a dozen eggs hard boiled, homemade salsa, got the towels/rugs washed, cleaned the glass on the doors, dusted the furniture, met with my yoga instructor to get back into my routine, and went grocery shopping.

I did more in this one day off than I usually do in a week...sometimes a month. It feels good to be so productive, but I admit part of me is thinking, "Uh-oh.......when am I gonna crash and burn."

I was super productive with my apartment thanks to some help from my family. My office is looking pretty sweet. My living room and kitchen are both pretty awesome. The bedroom needs just a little more work though.

RF: god applying to colleges ****ING SUCKS. does anybodyelse here have trouble writing essays about themselves? i cant remember or describe myself without doing things/saying things in person, etc. i literally i cant write about myself. ITS ****ING ANNOYING SINCE I HAVE TO FOR MY FUTURE

I hate it too. I don't like to "talk myself up" or "sell myself" in those situations either. My relatively pathetic essay(s) for college and/or grad. school took me several days of staring at a blank screen. I've found that my closest friends were able to help me get started, and then it was a lot easier. Just ask some of them for some suggestions on your strong points and weak points so you can have an idea where to begin. Even though I already had an idea when I asked people, it seemed like hearing some of their ideas helped me with a few new ideas as well as confirmed some of my own.

I'm not of the opinion that after you've actually loved someone it ever goes away fully. But after a few years of struggling over a similar issue, I'm content knowing that my ex gf will always be a part of who I am today and there will always be a part of me who still loves her. But it's just on a very different level today than it was back then. It's not a love where I'd ever think we would work as a couple in the future, or even that I think I would want that if it were a possibility. It's more of a love like...the time we spent together helped shape who I am, and I'm a better person now, and I still appreciate her today very much to this day. There's definitely not a shortage of love to go around in the future either

That's a really great way to look at that. I think I just need closure with my ex.
