*when* do you take concerta?

i've been doing some "experimenting"...

i've been on concerta for four months now, but i've yet to find the ideal time for me to take it...
for the last two days *this* has been my morning routine:

1. i set the alarm clock for 6 am
2. i take my concerta and efexor
3. i go back to sleep

strange as this may sound (and it *does*, but *don't* worry - it's probably a placebo thing!!!;-), i'm actually finding that in this way, the concerta seems to last *longer* than if i take it at say noon or 1 pm!

maybe i need to already *"be"* on concerta when i get up in the morning (maybe there's a market for iv concerta? just kidding!;-) - to kinda start the day off right?!

hmmm well, I get up at different times, as early as 7 or as late as noon....
I eat breakfast soon after I wake up....and I take my concerta right after.
If something happens that I wake up REALLY late...like after 1 or something...I don't bother taking my concerta for that day.

I take mine around 8:00 a.m. I might try taking it at six and then sleeping a little more to see what happens. Does anyone get sleepy right after taking Concerta?

I take it at 5am and feel its effects by 5:30am. Seems to work until 8-9pm which is when I try to goto sleep anyway.

I take mine at about 6:30.
I have been thinging of waiting until 8 and taking it at work instead.
Or going to straight Ritilin to have more control.

I try to take mine at 8am but it seems like I can never take it at the same time everyday

I know the worst part about ADD is trying to remember to take meds the same time. I took Strattera last night at bedtime because I forget to take it every day.

i've gone back to taking my concerta at noon or 1 pm...
why???
who knows...

I take concerta (36mg) when I wake up in the morning and I'm done w/ taking medicine for the day.
