Ritalin and its effectiveness during female cycle

I know I asked this before but I can't find it

Do any female who are taking or have taken Ridalin notice the meds don't work so well during ovulation or right before TOM (time of the month)?

I know I had enough sleep and I am doing my normal listening to music, but I can't focus to save my life! I don't have any large stresses but I am ovulating... so why isn't my ridalin working?! Or is this an unreal expectation of the product?

Yep, same problem here. Although DURING the TOM (first 2 or 3 full days) I am usually "at my best", i.e. more focussed, happe etc.

I've heard a lot of different explanations, one being that Serotonin messes with ya then so the meds won't help.
