PTSD Counteracting With other meds.

I have PTSD and when I do have flashbacck, it does not matter if I am taking my dexadrine or lamictal, flashbacks will mess up concentration and make me even more of an up and down emotional state, I want to take meds to help with the PTSD and maybe then I will make everything easier to deal with, Mom thinks I am on enough meds already that they could counter act my other meds and make things worse....What can I do?
