blue pill marked "E 111" - amphetamine salt combo.. what is this??

I just got off ritalin (terrible crash) and was put on 10mg of "amphetamine salt combo", which is a blue pill with 'E 111' written on it. I am confused as to if this is a generic or an entirely different drug.

If so would I benefit more from getting a name brand or some other form of generic? It seems to be working much better than ritalin, but I am not sure how it stacks up against other brands.

thank you for your time.

Generic, sounds like Eon Labs/Sandoz. There is no name brand of the IR. When asking for brand you are actually given the generic Teva/Barr brand. I don't understand it but somehow when Teva fought to get the right ot make IR, somehow Shire ended up leaving the market and letting Teva/Barr make the brand and the generic.

That is Sandoz/Eon, the best generic available for Adderall IR.

It's smoother than the other generics and has less side effects.
