ADD anniversary-ish
Apr 23, 2017 - 8:23 PM - by fperkins33
When I'm almost one of the big-0 years, I might spend the whole year getting my age wrong. Older, not younger. Like I'm in a hurry.

For the last couple of weeks I've been thinking -- oh yeah, sometime end of april, it'll be 4 years since diagnosis. Considering it has been not-the-greatest of 4 years, I guess I've been making some progress, so to speak. Hating myself somewhat less, some

Golf
Apr 23, 2017 - 5:48 PM - by Letching Gray
Let me warn you, while as an ADDER I need to learn ways to relax, enjoy the great outdoors, have spontaneous bouts of fun, if you think for one second, golf is the answer, you have likely gone completely out of your mind.

Why?

Are tasks overwhelming to you when you are not medicated ?
Apr 22, 2017 - 2:10 AM - by AmroIb
I have noticed that some ADHD/ADD people struggle with daily tasks, that's why we usually procrastinate and put things off because tasks feel such a chore that we just wanna avoid starting them ! sometimes that itself leads to depression because it causes underachievement and lead to low-self esteem and other host of problems. But I'm interested on how many ADHD struggle with daily tasks when not medicated ?. is it just me ? For me some tasks... [Read More]

Wishing I was really smart
Apr 21, 2017 - 5:42 PM - by icantbelive93
Hey guys,

So my biggest wish in life is to be really smart, like above average smart. Ideally genius level. I know this might sound really dumb. I have always been jealous of highly intelligent people. There are times I feel smart and than there are times I feel really stupid. I know the answer is to just accept myself and my intelligence level, whatever that may be. It's just sooo hard. I think it also has to do with that my dad always had really high expectations of me that I... [Read More]

Why do I keep getting in my own way?
Apr 21, 2017 - 3:12 PM - by WheresMyMind
I mean it just that way - if I could figure out WHY I keep getting in my own way...well, I must be doing it to satisfy something. Whatever that something is, if I knew what it was, maybe I could satisfy it another way - if it's an inner belief, I can change that. I just can't put a handle on it.

The daily struggle is "doing stuff", so keep that in mind while I start at the top.

My highest goals, according to me, are:
