Restlessness?
Jun 24, 2019 - 3:15 PM - by warmbrew_991
How does everyone deal with feeling restless? It's one of the most annoying symptoms for me, I really can't relax at all.

I recently graduated and I was hoping I'd be able to relax and just chill, but now ironically without any work to do I feel even worse compared to when I was all stressed out with uni work. I just feel bored all the time but nothing seems to scratch the itch.

I've been applying for jobs none stop because it kind of gives me the feeling of... [Read More]

Brain teasers & games
Jun 21, 2019 - 4:01 PM - by lostranslation
I hate them. It's like being back in school and having no clue where to even start, and, once again, giving up in frustration. Same with crosswords. You have to be up on celebrates and other things that don't interest me. Word games remind me that I can't spell. Cards or board games? I always forget the rules, which direction we are going, etc. I find most games stressful.
Anyone else?

Jun 18, 2019 - 2:34 PM - by phazonConduit
A goal of mine was to have remained a bit more active on these forums, yet funny how having ADHD-C always seems to act against what I want!

I'm not posting on the New Member Introductions forum since I am not a new member, but have been absent for almost three years and I figured I may as well try to meander my way back on here without much of a grand entrance.

Anyway, a lot has changed since I was last on here. I moved back to my home city of LA and have managed... [Read More]

For a week I felt normal... but now I am back to normal
Jun 15, 2019 - 3:41 AM - by Fuzzy12
Funny, isn't it, the gap between what we think is normal and what actually is normal for us.

Two weeks ago I was on holiday. I went to the gym everyday and swam a lot. I was in a great mood
I'd stopped both anti depressants and stimulants and was still fine. I kept thinking: I feel so normal. So healthy. No darkness. Just human.

Now I'm back. Incapable of focussing at work. Spending each evening binge eating (cereals but without cereals...just milk and a... [Read More]

Any advice would be great!
Jun 12, 2019 - 9:02 PM - by livinglife
Hi guys! I am a 31 year old and I was diagnosed with ADD in nursing school. I had always thought ADHD was a hyperactive disorder and you couldn't have it if you are quiet and shy, well extremely quiet and shy. Probably why I flew under the radar for so long plus I came from a small town. We were going over Psych diagnoses in nursing school and my wonderful Psych professor who was also my advisor was going over ADHD and I was like she just described me minus the hyperactivity. It took me a bit... [Read More]
