I keep getting hungry
Apr 18, 2018 - 11:34 PM - by traze23
Recently, I've noticed I keep getting hungry even shortly after I eat a meal. I cannot remember it being this bad years ago and hard to figure out when this started happening to me.

I've had depression for over 20 years. Wondering if others have this issue or know if its related to depression?

are the chemicals in our brain wired differently than others

we feel as if the chemicals in our brain are out of line

when we work hard does it pay off?

we dont view the world like others do

our eyes are half shut... [Read More]

ADHD under diagnosed in adults
Apr 14, 2018 - 4:26 AM - by daveddd
feel like this deserves its own thread

adhd is still considered a kids diagnosis

its often dismissed as anxiety or depression (people with simple versions of these can usually accurately verbalize these specific over active feelings)

some interesting quotes from article

Indeed, adults with ADHD are more likely to present to a psychiatric clinic for treatment of their comorbid disorders than for ADHD, and their ADHD symptoms are often... [Read More]

Do you feel dismissed because you can seem so normal?
Apr 12, 2018 - 4:06 PM - by psychopathetic
Do you ever feel like people dismiss your struggles and your need for help because you seem so normal?
It's like the outside world sees the good side of you, and you seem SO capable and SO enthusiastic for life. So they view you as a normal, healthy person more than capable of doing what needs doing without any assistance.
They don't see the side of you that struggles. And even after explaining to them your difficulties, they still seem to dismiss you because they just don't see... [Read More]
