Feb 25, 2018 - 4:42 PM - by Daydreaming
Iím a 31 year old male and i was diagnosed with adult ADD last year. The issues I have been going through is being inattentive all the time, I have absolutely zero energy for work, tasks at work, things I like to do, etc. no amount of caffeine keeps me awake or alert. I have no focus for anything or any situation. Every morning is a struggle to get out of bed because I know Iím not going to be motivated and have no energy. Weekends if I donít have plans I stay in bed forever then I get up to... [Read More]

multiple symtoms/ no diagnosis
Feb 25, 2018 - 4:08 PM - by ingachick
Hello. I am completly new to this. I am 52 and have had an impossible time throughout my life to convey my symptoms accurately and be understood to any degree by nearly every professional I have sought help from. It hasn't been until recently that it occured to me that In lumping all of my symptoms into one, all that makes me feel so ridiculously abnormal, I have confused everyone. I am assuming that I haven't sought the right help from the right people...

ADD Linked With RMD
Feb 24, 2018 - 12:06 AM - by Oíshea86
Hello,
I am curious if anyone out there has a diagnosis of ADD and RMD (Rythmic Movement Disorder). Also known as head banging, head rolling, etc...

I have RMD and I strongly feel that I have ADD based on my symptoms. Anyone with RMD out there who can shed some light on the matter?... [Read More]

It makes me doubt ADD is real, when people promote medication as only the treatment for ADD.

It makes me doubt ADD is real, when nobody wants to discuss or learn how self regulation normally develops, and only wants to recommend medication.

It makes me doubt ADD is real, when discussing attachment and attunement role in developing self regulation is seen as off topic and blaming the parents. (when attachment and attunement are essential requirements for healthy brain... [Read More]

LIVING with ADHD
Feb 22, 2018 - 9:19 PM - by Fuzzy12
It's hard. Sometimes I think it's too hard. Too tiring. The constant internal battles, the constant stress, the constant failures, the constant trying to be something you are not. I'm exhausted. I'd forgotten how utterly exhausting it is trying to focus on something and failing. I wonder what life would be like if I was a bit more normal. A bit more functional. What is it like to not constantly be engaged in a battle? Is that possible at all? For humans? Does anyone lve without constantly... [Read More]
