Scary ADD moments
Jun 16, 2018 - 6:52 AM - by Ronelh
I wanted to put this under the thread "ADD moment for today" but it isn't a funny story, so I decided to keep it separate.

I happen to live in a somewhat remote area of the world, and I live in a village where there are a lot of snakes. They usually don't get into the house, though, so I don't worry about them too much except to watch my step when I'm walking around outside.

But the other day, I came hope from work a bit late (almost sunset),... [Read More]

started noticing a new thing in myself and other's
Jun 15, 2018 - 1:30 AM - by Drogheda
so I was at work today, and going to work was an experience in itself. I was feeling pretty great, still do, just a bit.... moodier.

this is about the saying "I remember", and how that phrase, well I use it a lot. I'm not lying when I say I remember, I have a very long pretty accurate memory.

but I've been noticing how what I remember has pretty much everything to do with the current moment and who I am talking to. there are real bits of information to remember... [Read More]

Strange feeling
Jun 14, 2018 - 7:30 PM - by tudorose
This is weird for me. I feel like something good is going to happen

I'm not sure make of what I dare say may be a feeling of happiness!!!

Almost excitement.

I usually feel like it's the end of the world and drag myself around in misery.

Not sure what to make of it.

When was the last time you felt happy? Do you remember what it feels like or has it been too long?

Body aches often.. Need relief!
Jun 14, 2018 - 11:58 AM - by Jeremiah26:11
Hi there, I am a recently diagnosed patient with ADHD although I have been feeling this way since my early 20's, if not sooner. I have experienced such a different side of myself (in a good way) that I have never seen before. I have been taking adderall 20mg for 3 months now. Even though this medicine helps me, I get body aches! Not every single day, but more than I want to experience. I am hurting at this very moment! It feels like I just got into a fight. My thighs are sore, my back hurts and... [Read More]

14 year old boys
Jun 13, 2018 - 6:15 PM - by LyrinMeow
So I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how to get a 14 year old boy to be less 14 year old boyish. He has autism and ADHD. Not currently taking meds. He's sits around like a lump on a log. He'll come out of his room occasionally and we'll have a short conversation or I'll ask him to do something. Otherwise it's just log.

He loves computers and video games. He likes to create levels or build things in sandbox modes. He wants to be a programmer. I do talk to him about my job and... [Read More]
