Does Paxil work with ADD? (Attention Deficit Disorder)
Jun 22, 2017 - 1:32 PM - by samiejg
I'm an adult and went to my doctor today for the first time in a long time, and asked about possibly getting some sort of medication for the attention issues I've always had. Actually I found out from my parents after making the doctors appointment that I was diagnosed as a child (but I do not remember that).

So I went to the doctor and explained that I do not even realize I have attention issues, and that I usually hear it from other people. But that I do notice major issues with... [Read More]

The poll question : Are you creative ?

----------------------

I am sure there are hundreds of threads on this topic, but I run a quick search and it wasn't helpful, so here's my problem:

I often see 'creativity' in job offers, and I'd obviously want to work with creative people.
So, basically , everyone wants creativity.

Need some Advice... My doctor doesn't seem to take my condition seriously.

I'll try to keep this short, but I've been diagnosed with ADD when I was young. And I was prescribed what I think was Adderall. I stopped taking the my medication starting in middle school and now I'm a young adult.

I've always had trouble focusing on boring tasks like studying, listening to people at meetings, and the usual symptoms. I wouldn't say I have a severe case of ADD, but I can tell that I often unwillingly drift off when I should be focusing on something and it seems... [Read More]

what a difference 2 years can make
Jun 20, 2017 - 3:58 PM - by Drogheda2
heya guys long time. by no account is that how long it's been sense I've been on here (I have no idea really, doesn't seem that long).

about two three years I started the journey inward, about two years ago I started my academic *carrier* again.

I was a rabble rouser, a bumb, a bumbler, someone without hope.... I could go on that forever. I think some of you even remember some of the nonsense I would say, and do.

then I started finding purpose,... [Read More]

Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria as a kid?
Jun 20, 2017 - 2:06 PM - by weswes
http://affinitymagazine.us/2017/01/2...ow-about-adhd/

I remember a few cases of RSD when growing up vividly. I believe once in second or third grade some kids spoke behind my back essentially saying that they didn't like me.

It was at the end of the day and I felt like i could double over. On the bus ride home my head was... [Read More]
