Extremely Hyper

I am extremely hyper and can't control myself. I say things that would **** people off. I do things without thinking first. I talk way too much and I am off the walls. I need help bad and I think I am the only person on here who is hyper and it can get bad fast. I don't like it

Feeling too old

It's pretty stupid but it's been troubling me for a while now. Really troubling me. I keep fretting that im not younger, at least by a few years, at least one year. I'm not sure why it's bothering me this much. I'm fairly healthy, really healthy actually, so a year or so shouldn't make a difference of any sort.

I guess apart from absolute health it troubles me that i seem to lag behind others in so many ways. I'm in my late 30ies and I still don't have a clear career path.... [Read More]

I don't really feel comfortable baring my soul but, I've never had a support network for this so I hope you don't mind this really long post about my crap that you might have dealt with too. What daily routine/structure works for you?

One thing many "how to navigate your adult ADHD" books say is that we ADD type really need a daily structure. And it has to include specific ADHD healthy things - in other words, you don't just "plan your day" like an NT person with "go to work at 8, pick up kids at 5". You have to specifically include ADHD habits like: 30 minutes of aerobics, 8 minutes of mindful meditation, or whatever specific self-centered (that's a good thing) things you have learned help with YOUR ADHD.
