ADD and Trauma
Nov 17, 2017 - 2:40 PM - by allesandro1
I recently had an incident with my boss at work because of my ADD blunders and found myself becoming inordinately upset about what might be considered a relatively minor incident. I discussed it with a friend, who is also a therapist who suggested it might be due to trauma associated with ADD. As we went through my history of negative experiences associated with ADD in both the workplace and at school, the pain just reverberated throughout my body. My stomach felt like it was a ship being... [Read More]

I need advice on how to proceed. Also I wrote a personal story.
Nov 17, 2017 - 1:09 PM - by MilosM
Wall of text ahead, proceed with caution!
There is a lot of text here which might not be necessary to make a decision but I explained everything in detail because I think it is a good example of ADHD in action. So I started therapy
Nov 16, 2017 - 10:44 PM - by daveddd
After coming up with excuses for 20 years I finally had my first therapy appointment

We値l see what happens. I知 going into it with the idea that it can do me some good and that I値l just shut up and listen at times. But still incorporate some of my own limited knowledge of mental health

We shall see I guess.

How to stop changing mind all the time
Nov 16, 2017 - 10:33 AM - by Fraser_0762
Anybody got any ideas or solutions to this? I can't stop changing my mind about everything. I get so far into something, only to change my mind and go off into another direction, only to change my mind again and go off into another direction. All i'm really doing is going around in an endless loop.

Do you think I might have ADD ?
Nov 16, 2017 - 9:23 AM - by Monado
Hello there,
This is my first post on these forums, but I have been reading them a lot in the past few months.

I'm a 25 young man. Since I was a child my life always felt weird to live. Back then I felt too adult for a kid and now I don't feel like being an adult fits me at all. It's like I was never able to find my place amongst other people.

Well, I guess at this time I was too worried for my mom because she wasn't really able to take care of 4 children... [Read More]
